An old, disused tennis court turned into an extensive outdoor entertainment area.
The Vision
Turning an old tennis court into something greater.
Our client, the property management team at the Lofts at River Walk, wanted to improve the amenities outside their historical building. The original tennis court next to the swimming pool area was disused and showing its age.
The Design
Creating a space perfect for socializing.
The driving idea behind the design was to use this space to allow more people to use the area — rather than just a few people who wanted to play tennis. With that in mind, the design was centered around socializing and entertainment. We designed this area using a detailed 2D drawings. Rustic materials achieve a look that complements the property’s industrial theme. The swimming pool area was also enhanced with cut-in beds to create more softscape features.
